2018 Law Enforcement Training

The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory is creating outreach and on-going training opportunities for Law Enforcement Agencies and Court Officials. This training will take you through a few case scenarios to emphasize our current capabilities, best samples for testing, how to package the evidence, and understanding the results. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to meet our staff and ask any questions that you may have.

All 2018 training will occur at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock (map), and each training event is limited to 35 attendees.

The 2018 training opportunities are:

  • Thursday, March 29, 8am–12pm
  • Thursday, June 28, 8am–12pm
  • Thursday, September 27, 8am–12pm
  • Thursday, December 13, 8am–12pm

Naloxone Protocol

Naloxone (Narcan®) is a drug that can be used in emergency overdose situations to temporarily reverse the effects of opiates, opioids, and some other drugs.

Act 284 of 2017 allows pharmacists to administer or dispense Naloxone under certain circumstances. The Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy has issued a Naloxone Protocol and other information to provide guidance in these instances.
