Sexual Assault Kit Tracking Website is now live

The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory now provides a free website used to track sexual assault evidence kits. This website can be used by not only local resources like hospitals and law enforcement agencies, but also by the victims and survivors of sexual assault to track these kits through the criminal justice system.

A video of the webinar explaining this new website is available here, and the website itself is at https://crimelabsakt.arkansas.gov/SexualAssaultKitTracking/ .

2018 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The next 2018 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is April 28, 2018. There are 316 collection sites around the state, so there's probably one close to you!

Did you know that Arkansas has the nation's second-highest rate of opioid prescriptions? That's a lot of medications. Bring your expired and /or unused medications to a collection site to help prevent drug misuse, accidental overdose, and polluting our water supply.

For more information please visit the Arkansas Take Back or DEA Diversion Control websites.
