The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory is comprised of approximately 130 people distributed throughout 12 different sections. Each section plays some role in processing evidence whether it is receiving, testing, storing information regarding our findings, or responding to public inquiry.
Currently, the lab is the only fully functional forensic laboratory in the state. We accept evidence from investigations that originate anywhere from the city, state, or federal level.
Each section is held by stringent quality guidelines that assure each piece of evidence is handled in the most professional manner possible. Each section also has their own safety operating procedures to ensure the safety of all laboratory personnel.
